Among other things, the lack of reliable transportation to the Glenside train station means I cannot avail myself of the direct train to the airport that leaves the train station once an hour, and I must use far more expensive alternatives.
Last week they kept me waiting at the Glenside train station when I returned from a trip so long that in the end I just walked home.
There is a huge problem with Montco Suburban Cab Company--it refuses to accept reservations for service on a specific day and time. What sounds like a small detail actually renders the company fairly worthless. Most of the times we need a cab involve having to be somewhere at a specific time, and this means having the assurance that we'll leave the house by a certain time.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Worst taxi services out there, please do not waste your money. Rude and sketchy service, thats highly unprofessional.
The second problem is that what they promise and what they deliver are two different things. When you check with them they will say insist that the absence of a reservation will not affect the service. They insist that if you call back at the precise moment you need the cab, there will be no problem with their taking care of you promptly. The reality is quite different. When you call and say that you need a cab NOW, you get put at the end of the queue, and you’ll need to wait however long.
I request a cab so they would come at 710am. They never showed up. When called they said we dont reservations. Worst customer service

I called for a cab. It took a couple of minutes for someone to pick up. I then told the dispatcher my destination and she said a cab would be about 5 minutes. Five minutes later the cab was at my door. The cab was clean, the driver was courteous and American! I already knew the route and the driver did not take me sighseeing. It was a totally positive experience. 11/28/2014
